Our Employment team is known for its work in relation to both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, acting for either employer or employee.

Contentious work includes claims for unfair and wrongful dismissal, redundancy, discrimination, enforcement of restraint of trade clauses and cases concerning working time and wages legislation.

Non-contentious work includes advice on terms and conditions of employment, including restrictive covenants and confidentiality clauses and advising companies on good industrial relations policy, small and large-scale redundancies, maternity / parental leave rights and transfers of undertakings.

The team has particular experience in negotiating settlements for senior company executives and in compromise agreements generally.

We are able to advise on resolving disputes as quickly and effectively as possible, providing a made-to-measure strategy which suits each individual situation.
