Before becoming a Consultant to Joelson Wilson’s property team, Mark was head of the real estate department of a central London law firm, having previously worked in the legal department of Grand Metropolitan. He has more than 30 years’ experience of handling a wide range of property matters including investment sales and purchases across industrial, retail, office, hotel and leisure sectors, site acquisitions and disposals for developers, funding and all aspects of landlord and tenant law. He also has wide experience of residential property transactions and leasehold enfranchisement work.

Sarah joined the firm in June 2010 from Candey LLP a boutique firm in Lincoln’s Inn where she was a consultant solicitor and acting Head of Property.
She specializes in hotel and leisure work and has developed a niche practice in this exciting sector.
Expertise
Sarah’s main practice areas include the sale and purchase of freehold or leasehold leisure units. She has acted for well known hoteliers, high profile restaurateurs and night club owners including the UK’s largest operator of licensed late-night venues.
In addition to this sector specialism she has worked closely with investment clients acting for buyers and sellers of commercial investment property advising on landlord and tenant law and working with clients to ensure the success of their on-going asset and portfolio management.
She also acts for well known high street bookmakers and gaming clients and has a clear understanding of their property needs.
Recent transactions include:
- The purchase of a prestigious freehold corner building in busy Marylebone for a private investor.
- The sale of a flagship 5 star hotel in central London.
- Advising the UK’s largest night-club operator on the property aspects of the re-organisation of its corporate structure and the subsequent sale of a large portion of its estate.
- Purchase and development of Thanet Earth acting for Dutch farmers in an £80 million project to build seven greenhouses which will sprawl across 220 acres of Kent countryside, occupying the same area as six London Zoos.
- Acting for high net worth individuals seeing to expand their UK and European property portfolios.
- The high-profile development of St Pancras acting for the developer building out the Grade 1 listed apartments above the station.
Outside Interests:
Sarah enjoys finding new and exciting restaurants to try out and when not spending time with family and friends is a keen ashtanga yoga enthusiast. She also collects antique Bulova watches.
