Registered and Unregistered Design Rights

We regularly advise on all aspects of Design Rights. Our first class service comprises practical advice in relation to clients’ overall brand strategies of which Design Rights will, in many instances, be a key element.

Our design right service includes an initial assessment of the possibility of the registration of a design, the preparation and submission of an application for registration and continuing advice on the monitoring of such applications.

We also frequently assist clients in connection with the enforcement and protection of their design rights, including pursuing action for damages and injunctive relief applications. We have particular experience of advising large and well known retailers and designers in this respect.
