Digby trained with Gordons Partnership LLP and spent 18 months working at Howes Percival LLP after qualification in September 2006 before joining the firm in April 2008.

Expertise

Digby has a commercial background, with previous experience working as a fund manager and an account manager for a media agency.

Digby’s main practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, management buy-ins and buy-outs, fundraisings, listed company matters, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, advising on a range of commercial contracts and on various intellectual property matters.

He also assists several of the firm’s larger clients with the negotiation of a wide range of commercial contracts on an ongoing basis and his experience includes drafting high profile supply and distribution agreements for clients in the food and drink sector and software licensing agreements for clients in the online gaming sector.

Recent Transactions include:

  • Acting for a Dubai based management consultancy and database company on the sale of its Dubai database business and related assets.
  • Acting for a UK based events company on the acquisition of an underwater defense equipment exhibition business.
  • Acting for a Cayman Islands resources company in relation to the completion of a private placement and a subsequent reverse takeover by a Canadian company listed on the Norwegian stock exchange.

Outside Interests:

Digby enjoys spending time with his family (he has 5 sons under 6), cycling, running and travel.
