Paul Chiappe

Paul trained with Finers and joined the firm in 1998 as a corporate lawyer. He became a partner at the firm in 2002 and has been instrumental in developing the firm’s Corporate Team into one of the West End’s leading practices.

Expertise

Paul acts for entrepreneurial clients primarily within the leisure, consumer goods and technology sectors on a wide range of transactional matters with an emphasis on medium to large corporate acquisitions and disposals.

Paul advises on all forms of commercial agreements, including LLP Agreements, shareholder and joint venture agreements.

He invests time with start-ups and handles a large number of private fund raisings and advises on complex employee share plans. In recent years he has built up a strong practice servicing the AIM market, handling flotations, reverse and code takeovers and placings.

His legal advice always focuses on his clients’ commercial imperatives.

Paul is fluent in Spanish.

  • Investment in and subsequent partial disposal of a well known FMCG Brand.
  • Fundraising for a well known Betting Group.
  • MBO for the UK’s leading Equity Derivatives Broker.
